CanIWorkForYou.com (“CanIWorkForYou”, “we”, “us”) is a proposal preparation service for contractors. A contractor sends us the information for a job they are quoting, and we organize and format that information into a professional proposal document that the contractor sends to their own customer.

This Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we handle it.

Information you give us

When you request a proposal or contact us, we may collect:

• Your name and your business name
• Your email address and phone number
• Your business details and logo, so the proposal carries your branding
• Job information you choose to send us, which may include your customer’s name, the job address, scope of work, materials, pricing, allowances, exclusions, payment schedule, timeline, warranty terms and other job-specific details
• Files you send us, including photos, handwritten notes, voice memos, documents and existing estimates

Information about your customers

Job information you send us often contains details about your customer, such as their name and the property address. We process that information only to prepare the proposal you asked for, and only on your instructions. We do not contact your customers, and we do not use their information for our own marketing.

Information collected automatically

We may collect limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, and cookie or analytics data.

How we use information

• To contact you about your request
• To take payment for proposals after your first free one
• To operate, secure and improve the website
• To keep ordinary business and tax records

How we share information

We do not sell your information, and we do not sell or share leads. We share information only with service providers that help us run the business — website hosting, email delivery, file storage and payment processing — and only as far as those functions require. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep job information and finished proposals so that we can re-send or amend a proposal you asked for. You can ask us to delete your information and the job files you sent, and we will do so unless we are required to keep records for legal or tax reasons.
